These handmade cream mud cloth pillow covers have been lined to enhance their appearance, for stability and to reduce stress on the fabric. Our Mud Cloth has been gently washed several times before the pillow covers are constructed.

All mud cloth pillows are unique one-of-a-kind. Variations in pattern and minor imperfections should be expected. Authentic Mali Mud Cloth or Bògòlanfini is made almost entirely by hand and comprised of 6″- 8″ panels. Handwoven and crafted mud cloth is 100% cotton fabric made in West Africa. The finished mud cloth textile may have discolorations, pattern variations, minor paint smudges, or pulls at seams where panels are sewn together. These imperfections are unique to each piece and inherent to the style and age of the textile and only enhance the individual nature of the pillow covers.

We try to photograph our pillow covers to reflect the actual colours however colour values may be displayed differently on some computer monitors. Always individually hand-cut and sewn in Canada

Order filler separately – either down/feather or synthetic down or mildew resistant polyfil We suggest feather/down or synthetic down fillers be at least 2″ larger than 20″, 22″, or 24″ pillow covers
